As I found excitement around nutrition and movement, I wanted to do everything at once... run, lift, eat whole foods, drink enough water (the list goes on...). Although these are healthful practices, they were done in the manner of doing everything at once and being perfect at it from the start.
My name is Tess Patry, with a BS in nutrition from UMass Amherst, passionate about supporting others through wellness and health. During my time in college, I learned the importance of incorporating whole foods and recipes into my routine, while also understanding how overwhelming the world of health information can be.
I quickly recognized that trying to do it all in any aspect of life will make it a lot more difficult for you to tackle any of the tasks you have your mind set on.
I hope this site can serve as a reminder to you (& me) that it is normal to feel impatient or unclear when trying to reach any goal. However, I believe success is about starting with small, intentional actions that build momentum and progress throughout your journey—so let's start!!!
