How I fit a variety of foods in?

Homemade grain bowls...
I find that when I customize my bowls to what I like, I am able to include not only nourishing foods but a variety of them!
This is typically how I go about building them (these vary based on what I want in the moment)
Start with a base:
whole grain option (+ some greens)

Top with any veggies you enjoy
corn, edamame, peas, sweet potato, carrots, peppers, cucumber, broccoli

Fruit
berries, mango, mandarin oranges, pomegranate

Protein
animal (chicken, beef, turkey) or plant (chickpeas, beans)

Dressing
(recipe here)

Add a crunch
pumpkin seeds, honey sesame cashews, pecans

Grain bowls are one of my go-to meals because I can switch them up every day, making it easy to enjoy a variety of foods together!
